Help Improve the Lives of Millions of Hens!
This week Congress is considering new legislation that will improve the lives of millions of hens in the US. Bill H.R. 3798 would give egg-laying hens significantly more space, give them nesting boxes, perches and scratching areas, will ban forced moulting, the cruel method of extending a laying cycle by food and water withdrawal, as well as finally demanding truthful egg labels that say if eggs came from caged or free-ranged hens. Please think of what an enormous change this would be for every single battery hen in the US, and contact your US Representative and senator today! Look up your legislators and their contact details here, and please make a phone call for all those hens who can't speak for themselves.
